On 13 February 2014 the opening ceremony of the exhibition “Routes of Liberation. European Legacies of the Second World War” took place in the European Parliament. The exhibition was created by the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk together with partners from the Netherlands, Germany, Great Britain and France.

Last Thursday, 12 February 2015, in the Warsaw University Gallery in the Kazimierz Palace the „Routes of Liberation.

On 20 April 2013 Museum organized a historical happening which referred to sabotage and black propaganda activities carried out by the Polish resistance against Nazi German occupation forces during the Second World War.

On 24 June an official presentation of the Liberation Route Europe project took place on Plac Inwalidów in Warsaw, at the Monument of the Polish 1st Armoured Division.

The inauguration of the open day at the construction site of the Museum of the Second World War on the 1st of the September 2015 was attended by: Minister of Culture and National Heritage Małgorzata Omilanowska, Head of the Prime Ministerial Chancellery Jacek Cichocki, and Gdańsk Mayor Paweł Adamowicz.
