THE FIRST POLISH VR ZONE CONSTRUCTED IN A MUSEUM INSTITUTION

The VR Zone of the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk is opened!
The VR zone consists of 6 stationary virtual reality stations equipped with Oculus Rift goggles,
thanks to which you can move to Westerplatte and explore the peninsula in the virtual world.
The Museum VR area is located in the lobby, level -3 and is open to all visitors completely free.

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES AND INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS

Six people can use the VR zone at a time. The fixed virtual reality stations are equipped with high-end computer sets and the most technologically advanced VR goggles currently available on the market - Oculus Rift, and controllers from leading manufacturers.

VIRTUAL WALK AROUND THE AREA OF THE FORMER MILITARY TRANSIT DEPOT AT WESTERPLATTE

The first presented tour is the Virtual walk around the Westerplatte peninsula. Archival photographs
from Westerplatte have been blended into current panoramas to present the location and appearance
of non-existent objects and scenes belonging to history both directly preceding the outbreak of World War II and earlier.
