The Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk, in addition to its main exhibitions, presents a number of other exhibitions - including those aimed at children, temporary and even virtual exhibitions available online through the internet. We warmly encourage you to come and see our exhibitions!
The main exhibition consists of three narrative blocks: "The Road to War", "The Terror of War" and "The Long Shadow of War". The exhibitions illustrate the Polish experience of war, against a background of the wider European and world context.
We encourage you to visit the temporary exhibitions that are on show both in the MSWW building and in the square in front of our institution.
Within the main exhibition of the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk, a special exhibition space has been prepared for children under 12, entitled "Time Travel".
The educational trail on Westerplatte was opened in June 2011. It complements the open-air exhibition "Westerplatte: Kurort - Bastion - Symbol", focusing the attention of visitors on the architecture and topography of the area.
Using the latest technologies, we have prepared virtual versions of the temporary exhibitions that have been presented at the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk.
