Buying tickets

The purchase of tickets for the main exhibition is possible both through the online ticket sales system and at the Museum ticket offices. Only a limited pool of tickets for a given time period is available for online sales. The remaining part can be purchased directly at the Museum ticket offices.

  • The online sales system is available at bilety.muzeum1939.pl 
  • To purchase tickets, you must create an account and activate it. After paying for the transaction, tickets become available in the customer panel.
  • The Museum ticket offices are open on the days when the Museum is open, from 9.30 am.The ticket offices are closed one hour before the closing of the main exhibition.
  • Free tickets for the exhibitions every Tuesday can be collected only at the Museum ticket offices on the day of the visit. One ticket is for one visitor.

Family ticket - 65 PLN

Individual visits to the main exhibition are recommended with an audio guide.

Audio guide - 12 PLN (available at the Museum and online: bilety.muzeum1939.pl )

A ticket to the main exhibition also entitles you to entry to the children's exhibition.

Discount tickets for the main exhibition are available for:

1) pupils, students up to 26 years of age, doctoral students - upon production of a school, student or doctoral ID;
2) teachers of schools, educational institutions - upon production of a document entitling to a discount;
3) educators of correctional facilities, orphanages, care and educational centers, shelters for minors - upon production of a document entitling to a discount;
4) seniors over 65 years of age - upon production of a document confirming age;
5) pensioners, disabled persons with guardians - upon production of an ID card;
6) natural persons awarded with the badge "For the care of monuments", the honorary badge "Zasłużony Działacz Kultury", "Zasłużony dla Kultury Polskiej" or the honorary title "Zasłużony dla Kultury Narodowej" - upon production of a badge / document entitling to a relief;
7) holders of the Culture Card - upon production of the Culture Card;
8) holders of the card of Honorary Blood Donor - upon production of a card of an Honorary Blood Donor;
9) holders of the Solidarity Corps Volunteer Card.


Large Family Card

An adult with a Large Family Card is entitled to a reduced admission ticket to the permanent exhibition.
Children and adolescents with a Large Family Card up to the age of 18 (inclusive) are entitled to a free ticket.
The discounts mentioned above cannot be combined with other discounts / promotions offered by the Museum.

 

A free ticket to the main exhibition is available for:

1) a person awarded with the Order of the White Eagle, the Order of War of the Virtuti Militari, the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland, the Order of Polonia Restituta - upon production of a badge / document entitling to a discount;
2) a person awarded the Medal "Zasłużony Kulturze Gloria Artis" - upon production of a badge / document entitling to a discount;
3) employees of museums entered in the State Museum Register - upon production of an ID card;
4) veterans - upon production of an ID / certificate;
5) persons repressed for political reasons, activists of the anti-communist opposition - upon production of an ID card / documents entitling to a relief;
6) members of the International Council of Museums (ICOM), the International Council for the Protection of Monuments (ICOMOS) - upon production of the Membership Card ICOM, Membership Card ICOMOS;
7) holders of the Tourist Card - upon production of the Tourist Card;
8) holders of a Pole's Card - upon production of the Pole's Card;
9) children up to 7 years of age - upon production a document confirming their age;
10) veterans of World War II - upon production of a veteran ID or a certificate;
11) children from orphanages, correctional facilities, care and educational centers, shelters for minors - upon production of a document entitling to a free ticket;
12) war invalids - upon production of an ID / certificate;
13) Honorary Citizens of Gdańsk - upon production of documents confirming possession of the title;
14) journalists - upon production of an official ID (prior e-mail booking required: rzecznik@muzeum1939.pl);
15) guardians of organized groups when purchasing a group ticket (1 guardian per 10 people);
16) donors of the Museum of the Second World War together with family members;
17) guides certified by the Museum of the Second World War - upon production of the ID issued by the Museum of the Second World War.
18) injured veterans and veterans - upon production of an ID / certificate;
19) holders of the Gdańsk Resident Card (once a year);
20) holders of the Gdynia Resident Card (once a year);
21) holders of the National Senior Card - upon production of an ID / card.
