A press conference organized by the Museum of the Second World War in Gdansk was held on March 12 at Westerplatte to present this year's plans regarding the construction of Westerplatte and the War of 1939 Museum. Dr. Karol Nawrocki, the director of the Museum of the Second World War in Gdansk, and Filip Kuczma, the Head of the Archaeology Department of the Museum attended the conference.

Japan’s Ambassador to Poland, Miyajima Akio, and the Embassy's Second Secretary, Ishihara Hiroaki, paid a visit to the Museum of the Second World War today. The Museum’s Directors and his Deputy Directors, accompanied by the Deputy Head of the Education and Science Department, showed the guests around our exhibitions.

It gives us a great pleasure to inform you that due to the strong interest shown in the “We will accept Your Personal History” Nationwide Collection of Artifacts, we decided to continue running this initiative until December 31, 2021.

The first issue of the scientific journal “Polish-Jewish Studies” edited by the Institute of National Remembrance has been published. Chief Editor of this annual is Deputy Director of the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk, Prof. Grzegorz Berendt.
