Japan’s Ambassador to Poland, Miyajima Akio, and the Embassy's Second Secretary, Ishihara Hiroaki, paid a visit to the Museum of the Second World War today. The Museum’s Directors and his Deputy Directors, accompanied by the Deputy Head of the Education and Science Department, showed the guests around our exhibitions. Following the tour, the honourable guests attended a screening of a film, A Postcard from the Uprising, a virtual reality feature that is one of the many projects within the New Technologies Zone. The visit concluded with a meeting during which guests from Japan were presented with proposed development plans for the future Museum of Westerplatte and the War of 1939.
