Decision on temporary closing of the Museum 

Due to the undertaken decisive steps to prevent the spread of SARS-COV-2 coronavirus, with regard to the decision of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of 11 March 2020 on the temporary closing of institutions of culture:

  • touring the main exhibition and the temporary exhibition, projections in the Museum Cinema and educational activity are suspended in the Museum of the Second World War effective March 12 2020 until further notice;
  •  any associated events organized by the Museum (spectacles, meetings with authors, lectures, concerts and others) are cancelled until further notice.

Current decisions related with the functioning of the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk will be posted on the website www.muzeum1939.pl and in the social media profiles of the institution.
