The BohaterON - turn on history!
The Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk launched the third edition of the BohaterON - turn on history! project. Everybody can join the project by sending a specially designed, free greeting card to a participant of the Warsaw Uprising. Postcards are available at the Museum and are issued free of charge.
Written up postcards should be sent to the address provided on the postcard. You can also leave them in the Museum of the Second World War. After the end of the project, all cards will be handed over to the Insurgents by the organizers of the BohaterON - turn on history! campaign.
Postcard for the Insurgent
Everyone can send a specially designed, free greeting card to a selected participant of the Warsaw Uprising. Postcards are available at the Museum of the Second World War. The map showing distribution points is available at www.bohateron.pl from August 1. The campaign lasts for 63 days, from August 1 to October 2 - the day the Warsaw Uprising ended 74 years ago.
The cards are issued completely free of charge. Written up postcards should be sent to the address provided on them. You can also leave them in the Museum of the Second World War. After the end of the project, all cards will be handed over to the Insurgents by the organizers of the BohaterON - turn on the history! campaign.
It is also possible to send postcards online free of charge via the www.bohateron.pl website. On the online card, you can write a maximum of 25 words - as many as were used in correspondence sent by mail during the Warsaw Uprising. Online postcards will be printed and delivered in a traditional form to the recipients.
