Screening of "Miasto 44" at the square in front of the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk
As part of the celebrations commemorating the 74th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, a screening of Miasto 44, a film directed by Jan Komasa took place on 1 August 2018 at 9:00 PM at the square situated in front of the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk. Thank you for being with us!
Miasto 44 is a story about young Poles who came into adulthood in the cruel realities of the occupation. Nevertheless, they are full of life, passionate and impatient. They live as if their each day was to turn out to be the last one. This is not due to excessive bravado or youthful recklessness – this attitude is something natural in the surrounding reality when death threatens at every turn.
