Maria Kann, "In front of the world"
As part of publicising the events and tragedy of the Jewish population, Maria Kann, acting in the Council for Aid to Jews, as "Żegota", wrote a brochure containing a description of the creation of the Jewish resistance and the uprising in the Warsaw ghetto.
The author, assisted by the employees of the Government Delegation and the Home Army, who provided some of the materials, hoped that it would contribute to the publicity of the Jewish tragedy in Warsaw, especially in the international view.
2,100 copies of "In front of the world" were printed in September 1943, but for security reasons the real place and the date of publication were disguised by placing on the title page: "Zamość - 1932".
