The Holocaust Memorial Museum Director’ visit to the Museum of the Second World War
The Director of the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, Sara J. Bloomfield, visited the Museum of the Museum of the Second World War on 28 October this year. She took a tour of our institution’s new building, including the permanent exhibition, which is being installed, where she learned about the details of its sections devoted to the Polish-Jewish relations. Sara J. Bloomfield also talked with Director Paweł Machcewicz and his deputy Piotr M. Majewski about the current situation of the Museum of the Second World War and the prospects of its operation after the end of the construction of the new building and the merger with the Museum of Westerplatte and the War of 1939 ordered by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
