First days of the war

Photos from the album of German sailor senior mat, music of Willi Wittzack, who in September 1939 served in the crew of the liner ship "Schleswig-Holstein". The album contains black and white photographs depicting the arrival of the ship at the port of Gdansk, the fight against Westerplatte, the Polish defenders of the Transit Warehouse at Westerplatte after capitulation, the scene of the barracks and the service of Wittzack's mat in the military orchestra.

In addition to the photo album, there are newspaper clippings from the first days of September 1939 and postcards with the liner "Schleswig-Holstein."
