Ewa Lidzbarska-Kreft

Deputy Director for Management and Development

Graduate of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Gdańsk University of Technology and of postgraduate studies in Controlling in Business Management at the Faculty of Management at the University of Gdańsk. In the course of her professional work of more than 20 years, she has participated in numerous construction investment projects for both cubature facilities (steel halls, housing construction, public utility facilities) and linear and hydrotechnical structures.

From 2012 to 2017, as the Head of the Development Department, she participated in the construction of the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk. This was a multi-stage investment process carried out under the supervision of the then Museum Directors (who were also the co-authors of the main exhibition’s script), in cooperation with experienced construction engineers acting as investor supervisors. The project included the preparatory procedures (archaeological work, project documentation, tender procedures) and the actual implementation on the construction site. Having obtained the certificate of occupancy for the facility, she was involved in the project commissioning and the maintenance phase for almost a year. In her daily work, she combines her professional technical experience with her knowledge of project management and investment controlling.
