The collections are intended for interdisciplinary research on World War II. The resources are primarily related to the 20th-century history. In addition, the library offers educational materials for teaching or historical publications for children and young people.
The library also holds resources essential for researching the Museum’s objects. There are notable publications on conservation, restoration and protection of artefacts, as well as resources on museology. The publications assist readers as well as Museum employees.
The collections housed in the library are regularly expanded through purchases, donations and exchanges between museums and scientific institutions in Poland and abroad.
