Visitor Centre at Westerplatte

Public transport:  bus lines 106, 138, 606  
Westerplatte can be reached by public buses, which run every day of the week. Only low-floor vehicles of lines 106, 138 and 606 (operating as an additional line only during the summer season) run on this route. Line 106 starts and ends at the Museum of the Second World War stop. Lines 138 and 606 start and end at the Main Railway Station in Gdańsk.

  • BICYCLE 

    There is a convenient cycle route from the centre of Gdańsk along the main roads leading to the peninsula. The route is approximately 10 km long and should take no longer than 40 minutes to complete one way.

  • PARKING AREA
    There are currently three public car parks at Westerplatte:
    - At the bus terminal – approx. 30 spaces;
    - Central car park, known as the ‘papal’ car park – for approx. 90 vehicles, including coaches – paid parking during the summer season (from 1 April to 31 October)
    - At the newly opened Visitor Centre;

    Parking at Westerplatte outside designated areas is prohibited and subject to penalties under generally applicable regulations.
