On June 22nd, 2023, aboard the Nova Star ferry, an agreement of partnership was signed between the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk and Polska Żegluga Bałtycka SA (Polferries). This collaboration marks another initiative to popularize historical knowledge about the world's largest armed conflict.  
We are pleased to announce that "War and Remembrance. Journal of the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk" has been recognized in the world of academia and is now one of the distinguished specialized periodicals. According to the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science, the journal has received 140 points.
Historians, researchers, and museum professionals are encouraged to submit articles for the sixth issue of "War and Remembrance. Journal of the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk." The central theme of this volume is: Eastern and Central Europe in 1944: The End of Illusions?  
The narrative of the main exhibition at the Museum of the Second World War focuses on, among other things, the tragic experiences of Poles under German occupation.
On August 4th, 2023, at the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk, another installment of the "Enter Into History" series took place. This time, the event was dedicated to the dramatic living conditions of the Polish civilian population in Warsaw during the uprising.
On August 3, 2023, at the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk, the opening of the exhibition "Wola 1944: Erasure. Genocide and the Reinefarth Case" took place.

Szmul Zygielbojm was an activist of the socialist Bund party. In its ranks (and also in municipal government), he fought for real equality for Jewish workers and for their social interests in Poland. It was Poland that he considered his homeland.
